Luckily for them, they had a computer “guru” brother with some limited experience in website development. That brother is me, Joe Henry. Not one to shy away from a challenge, I took the project on with two main goals in mind:
Produce a professional looking website that's user friendly and easy for visitors to find what they’re looking for.
Produce it in an economically feasible way.
By economically feasible, I mean half to two thirds the cost that other website design companies wanted for this project. After researching the options, I settled on a template driven website development business model. The use of pre-made, customizable templates made both of these goals possible. As a side bonus, this model also produces fantastic results in much less time than building a website from scratch.
A week or two after I took on this challenge I had developed what my brothers thought was a nice, clean website that they could use as a marketing tool and display their properties to the world wide audience of the internet. I developed the site with expansion and ease of upgrading in mind so that in the future, they’d be able to add properties as well as change the look of the site with a minimum of work and associated costs.
That’s the story of the humble beginnings of DirtyDogDesigns.com. DirtyDogDesign.com now develops websites for local individuals, organizations and business as well as for clients throughout the continental US.

Our main tool for website development is RapidWeaver. We also use many third party theme templates including those from Elixir Graphics, Multithemes, Graphics Plant, seyDesigns, henk vrieselaar, Theme Weaver, Rapid Ideas, ADHD Graphics, and Ralf Niedling.
